We're still smiling after another fantastic Folk On The Dee in the Day, and we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it such a memorable event. Your energy, your voices, and your enthusiasm turned a simple afternoon of music into something truly special. 

Set against the beautiful backdrop of the Dee Sailing Club, the room was filled with laughter, stories, and songs that brought everyone together in that unique way only live folk music can. 

One of the highlights of the afternoon was the wonderful performance by the Jones Family. We're delighted to share that two of their performances from the day are now available to watch. These videos capture the spirit of the afternoon beautifully, and we're thrilled to be able to share them so you can relive the moment – or enjoy it for the first time if you couldn't be with us. 

Alongside them, we had a brilliant set from David Littler and the Legends of Lancashire Folk Paul, David and Tony. Their performance was a wonderful mix of nostalgia and pure fun, featuring well-loved favourites like "You Are My Sunshine" – complete with the famous ukulele – alongside "My Brother Sylvest" and "When I Was a Lad." 

With each chorus, the room burst into song, proving once again that the magic of folk music lies in the shared experience. 

Thank you once again for being part of such a wonderful afternoon. Events like this come alive because of the people who join us, sing with us, laugh with us, and support local folk music with such genuine heart.
