Folk On The Dee In The Day is delighted to welcome acclaimed singer-songwriter and guitarist Mike Silver for a rare return to the Wirral.
For many of us, Mike hardly needs an introduction.
His beautifully crafted songs, outstanding guitar playing and warm, engaging performances made him one of the most popular guest artists on the folk club circuit. Whether you first heard him at The Black Horse in West Kirby, Parkgate Folk Club, a festival or on one of his many recordings, you’ll know just how memorable his performances are.
Mike is returning, this Autumn with a new album and a tour of some of his favourite folk clubs. As part of that journey he’ll be joining us to record a podcast, and we’re delighted that he’ll also be spending Tuesday with us for what promises to be a very special afternoon.
For those who remember him, it’s a rare chance to welcome back a much-loved artist. For those discovering him for the first time, here’s the opportunity to experience one of the performers who helped define a memorable era of the folk club scene.
